Ghana, Japan sign $13.4M deal to boost Tamale’s power supply – Finance Minister announces

Ghana has secured a grant of approximately $13.44 million (1.92 billion Japanese Yen) from the Japanese government to enhance and stabilize the electricity supply in Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region. This agreement was formalized through an Exchange of Notes between Ghana's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, and the Japanese Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Yoshimoto Hiroshi.
