Ama Dokua Rejects Nude Video Allegations, Accuses Influencer of Blackmail

Accra, Ghana – Former Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, has broken her silence over allegations linking her to a leaked nude video of German-based Ghanaian influencer Tina Mensah. In a strong rebuttal, Ama Dokua accused the influencer of orchestrating a blackmail plot to tarnish her reputation.

The allegations emerged after Tina Mensah filed a GH¢20 million defamation lawsuit at the Accra High Court, naming both Ama Dokua and an associate, Abigail Kwarteng, as defendants. According to court documents, the influencer claims she was secretly recorded while exiting a bathroom during a visit to Kwarteng’s residence in Kumasi. The video later surfaced on TikTok and Facebook, allegedly after being shared with Ama Dokua.

Ama Dokua, in a public statement, denied any involvement in the recording or circulation of the video. She noted that she has not been officially served with the lawsuit but is aware of the claims circulating online. “This is a clear attempt at character assassination and a malicious ploy to drag my name through the mud,” she said.

Her legal team has been instructed to prepare a defense and explore counter legal actions against what she termed as “a deliberate act of defamation.”

Meanwhile, Tina Mensah is seeking damages and a public apology, stating that the leaked video has cost her endorsement deals, damaged her mental health, and ended her engagement.

✅ Conclusion:
As the controversy continues to unfold, the case highlights critical issues surrounding digital privacy, influencer culture, and the role of public figures in a highly connected world. All eyes will be on the court as both parties prepare for what may become one of Ghana’s most high-profile defamation cases.
