The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak has reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining peace, security and stability in the country, emphasising that they are core to his mandate and will perform his duties diligently, effectively and efficiently for the benefit of all.

Interior Minister reaffirms commitment to maintaining peace, security and stability

The Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak has reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining peace, security and stability in the country, emphasising that they are core to his mandate and will perform his duties diligently, effectively and efficiently for the benefit of all.

He said this when the Ada Traditional Council extended its warm congratulations to Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak on his appointment as Minister for the Interior.

He appealed to the Council and Ghanaians to support the government in ensuring peace and security, highlighting that this is a collective responsibility crucial for development and business growth. 

In a meeting at his office in Accra, the Council, led by Asafoatsengua Buertey Okumko  Obuapong IV, Senior Warlord of  Adibrawe Clan of Ada, on behalf of the Paramount Chief of Ada Traditional Area, commended the Minister for his tireless efforts in promoting peace and security across the country through stakeholder engagement.

The Council expressed gratitude for  Muntaka’s good work since assuming office and discussed key areas of importance between the Ada Traditional Council and the Ministry of the Interior, focusing on security and development.
