2025 Thomas Partey Cup: 12 Teams Ready to Battle for Supremacy
The 2025 edition of the Thomas Partey Cup is set to kick off with 12 competitive teams lined up, promising an exciting showdown of local football talent and community pride.

Anticipation is building ahead of the 2025 Thomas Partey Cup, as 12 football teams from across the country gear up to compete in the celebrated off-season tournament founded by Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey.
This year’s edition promises intense competition, community engagement, and a showcase of raw football talent, particularly from Partey’s hometown of Odumase-Krobo and surrounding areas.
“The tournament is about discovering the next big stars and giving back to the communities that raised us,” said Thomas Partey during the tournament launch.
⚽ A Platform for Grassroots Talent
The Thomas Partey Cup has grown from a small local initiative to one of Ghana’s most anticipated grassroots football events. It provides a platform for young players to display their skills in front of scouts, coaches, and thousands of fans.
Many former participants have gone on to join professional clubs in Ghana and abroad, giving the tournament a reputation as a stepping stone to stardom.

The 12 participating teams will be split into 4 groups of 3. The group stage will be followed by knockout rounds, culminating in a grand finale in Tema Sports Stadium on August 18, 2025.
